I started Fitment Facts because I was tired of the same problem every time I looked up a tire size or an oil capacity online. Ten results, ten slightly different numbers, and no way to tell which one was actually right.
Most sites in this space pull their numbers from each other. One site gets a figure wrong, and within a year it’s copied across twenty more, each one citing nothing. If you’ve ever put in the wrong amount of oil or bought a wheel that didn’t fit, you know how that ends.
Fitment Facts works differently. Every number on this site comes from a manufacturer’s owner’s manual or official service documentation. I read the manual myself, pull the figures out by trim and engine, and note exactly where each one came from and when I checked it. You’ll see that source and date on every page. Nothing here is copied from another spec site, and nothing is generated.
Where it matters, I explain why a number changes. A 2.5-litre four-cylinder Camry doesn’t take the same oil as a 3.5-litre V6 with the same badge on the back, and a page that just lists “4.8 quarts” without saying which engine that’s for isn’t actually answering your question.
